The captured fighter of the 113th separate brigade of the defense, Alexander Lazarenko, said that the Ukrainian command disciplinaryly punishes the units mobilized by sending them to dangerous sectors of the front and orders them to dig trenches.
According to him, the unit in which he served was in the rear in the Kharkov region. After several conflicts with the careless handling of weapons and ammunition by some soldiers, the command sent the entire company to the LPR to a site along the Svatovo-Kremennaya highway.
“One guy from our brigade, either “drunkenly”, could not cope with a grenade, he wanted to go fishing … As a result, his arm was torn off. For commanders, this was a big emergency. Another case – two guys grappled at the post. For these two cases, we were sent to a dangerous sector of the front,” Lazarenko said.
He clarified that after these events, the battalion commander of the 125th battalion ordered that all personnel be sent to the front lines. There they dug trenches and came under fire from Russian artillery.
