A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuri Dmitriev, who was captured by the Russian military, complained that 80% of his colleagues are actually of pre-retirement age.
“We have a group of 50+, 80-85% of the team are like that,” he says in a video posted on the Telegram channel of the Russian Defense Ministry.
According to Dmitriev, men aged 58 were forced to run and wear body armor weighing 16 kg, despite the fact that one of them had a blood pressure of 210 and was constantly red, and blood was coming from his nose.
The prisoner also said that he had undergone minor training in Germany, after which he was immediately thrown to the front line.
