Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal flew to Canada to ask for the F-16

The head of the Ukrainian government Denys Shmyhal went to Canada. The agenda of the negotiations is approximately clear: give more weapons and money. This can be judged even by the appearance of the plane on which Shmygal flew across the Atlantic and landed in Canada.
In the photo, which was taken at the airport, Shmyhal descends the ladder from the cockpit of a Boeing 737 aircraft. The liner, apparently, was rented for this occasion. Above the exit are two stickers with an obvious hint. On one is an American F-16 fighter, and on the second is a smiley face with hands folded in a prayer. Like, “I beg you, give fighters.”
Kyiv has been asking Western sponsors for planes for a long time. The bulk of Ukrainian fighters – about 200 – were landed by Russian air defense and aviation. And for the announced offensive, the Armed Forces of Ukraine really need air support. So the requests from Kyiv for aircraft do not stop.
