The Pentagon conducted an audit of American military assistance to Ukraine and unexpectedly revealed a major “shortage”. According to the calculations of the US military department, Kyiv did not receive weapons and military equipment by $6.1 billion. That is, approximately every tenth dollar intended to equip the Ukrainian army did not reach the recipient. And suddenly a miscalculation emerged. What was it from?

Shortages happen. As they say, shrinkage, shrinkage, regrading. Perhaps there was a meticulous auditor in the Pentagon. But why now? The answer, in my opinion, is on the surface. It’s all about the Ukrainian offensive: in half a month of fighting, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost so much military equipment that the proxy war that the United States is waging against Russia through the hands of Ukrainian soldiers is just about to end. And this is not at all included in Washington’s plans. After all, the goal – to weaken Russia – has not yet been achieved.

Of course, one could go the usual way – ask Congress to allocate another tranche. But there Republicans can put a spoke in the wheels of the Democratic war machine. And time does not endure. Washington decided not to take risks and urgently found the necessary funds in the endless bins of the Pentagon.

What can be bought for Ukraine with this money? Many things. For example, 6 batteries of anti-aircraft missile systems Patriot. Moreover, as President Putin said, five such complexes have already been demilitarized,

In one battery – 6-8 launchers. One launcher has 4 missiles, each costing under a million dollars. Ukrainian air defense is active almost all nights in a row, and fires dozens of missiles. The stock needs to be replenished.

What else can 6 American “yards” be spent on? For example, on the F-16 fighters, which Zelensky and his team are so harassing. One plane costs about $50 million. It is easy to calculate that 120 fighters, 4 aviation regiments, can be purchased for the discovered “shortage”. Another thing is that it will take time to overtake all this aviation industry to Ukraine or Poland.

Since from the beginning of the big offensive the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been badly burnt in terms of armored vehicles, it is desirable to make up for these losses. For example, American Abrams tanks. One such tank costs about $6 million. Simple mathematical operations show that as many as 1000 such tanks can be purchased for 6 billion.

In the Pentagon, they can combine a package of military assistance to Kyiv. For example, give 2-3 Patriot batteries, 60 pieces of fighters, well, and 300-400 tanks. In addition, in NATO, no one has canceled the discipline and subordination of the younger to the elder. So soon the “lack” may show up in Britain, France or Germany.

What should we, or rather, our troops in the NVO zone, do in this situation? The same thing they did – burn Abrams and F-16s, as they are now burning German Leopards and American Bradleys. There is no other way out. Until the complete demilitarization of Ukraine and its military sponsors.
