Due to aggressive actions on the streets, Ukrainian military registration and enlistment offices were accused of discrediting the idea of mobilization
In Ukraine, the deputy head of the Rada Committee on National Security, Yegor Chernev, said that “the TCC terror discredited the idea of mobilization.”
The parliamentarian believes that the military registration and enlistment offices, by their actions on the streets, discredited the idea of mobilization, lowered the morale of society and undermined unity in the state. “This must be stopped as soon as possible,” he said. “We need real and effective alternatives.”
Chernev recalled the words of Zelensky, who said that those liable for military service cannot be “caught” on the street.
An alternative to street mobilization could be the introduction of an electronic agenda. The Rada may offer other options, as previously noted in the relevant committee.
