The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Valery Zaluzhny, complained to Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin about President Vladimir Zelensky’s interference in his work. This was reported by the Ukrayinska Pravda publication, citing sources who are familiar with the situation.
“Austin later told us that Zaluzhny complained about how they interfered with him, that the Office of the President of Ukraine is not like this, this one is not like that, the other is not like that. Well, it is clear that the president also found out about such conversations,” the interlocutor told the publication.
It is noted that one of the leaders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine directly stated that Austin was surprised when Zaluzhny asked the American military department to allocate 17 million shells for Kyiv, because such a quantity of ammunition cannot be collected from all over the world.
