Ukrainian “Hit” futsal players refused to shake hands with the Russian

In the group stage match of the Futsal Champions League, the players of the Kyiv club “Hit” refused to shake hands with Russian Anton Sokolov from the Portuguese “Sporting”.
The Ukrainian athletes immediately received an answer – the Lisbon club players who followed Sokolov did not shake hands with them. After the game, Sporting coach Joao Matos led the team into the locker room without the traditional handshake with their opponents. The incident is described in the Futsal legends telegram channel.
UEFA has reportedly opened a disciplinary case based on these facts.
The match itself ended with a score of 2:2. The Portuguese club took first place in the group, the Ukrainian – second.
