General Syrsky was surprised to provide units of the RF Armed Forces with information about the battlefield
The commander of the eastern grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Alexander Syrsky, spoke in an interview with Ukrainian news agencies about the equipment and tactics of the Russian side in combat. For obvious reasons, Ukrainian journalists do not attach their comments to what the military leader said, and therefore one can only guess about the addressees – Kyiv or Brussels – of his remarks.
First of all, Syrsky was surprised to note that the commanders of Russian assault groups use on their smartphones a special application “Alpine Quest GPS”, which shows the current coordinates of Ukrainian positions, as well as the objects of attack of the groups, advance routes, tasks of neighboring units, etc.
In addition, Syrsky, as if with surprise, notes the well-coordinated work of Russian tank, artillery and assault units in solving combat missions, the effective use of drones for aiming fire and other fairly logical actions.
