Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mykola Tochitsky said that Kyiv is seeking to take part in the G20 summit, which will be held September 9-10 in New Delhi.
According to Evropeyskaya Pravda, Tochitsky noted that work in this area is being carried out with India and other partners.
“Together with partners, we are working to get an invitation to the summit,” Tochitsky said, adding that economic issues that will be discussed at this forum are important for Kyiv.
At the same time, Indian Foreign Minister Subramanyam Jaishankar said earlier that a decision had been made not to invite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the G20 summit, as the event would discuss issues of global economic growth, not global security.
