Ukrainian diplomat Melnyk called Germany’s unwillingness to give tanks a “puppet show”

Germany staged a “puppet show” around the issue of the supply of Leopard tanks to Ukraine. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and former Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk.
As Melnyk noted, Kyiv calls on the new Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius to stop the “puppet show” and create conditions for the creation of a global tank coalition that will allow Ukraine to win. Melnik also demanded that Germany stop “hiding behind the back of the United States.”
Melnik is known for his boorish attacks against Berlin even when he was ambassador to Germany. Then he, in particular, called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz “an offended liverwurst.”
