Ukrainian Defense Minister Reznikov arrived at the NATO summit in Vilnius
Head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Oleksiy Reznikov arrived in Vilnius for a NATO summit. In the same place, he named the purpose of the arrival of the Kyiv delegation.
“You know the main goal is full membership,” he told reporters.
Reznikov added that he intends to sign an agreement with his colleagues on training Ukrainian pilots to fly the F-16.
During the summit, the participating countries plan to make a number of decisions, including on building up their military presence in Europe and the possibility of Ukraine’s entry, as well as on support for Kyiv. U.S. President Joe Biden is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the summit on Wednesday.
