The court left the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky (included in the Russian Federation in the register of terrorists and extremists) in custody, Strana.ua reports.
At the hearing, the prosecutor filed a motion not to consider the request of the businessman’s lawyers to change his preventive measure due to deteriorating health conditions. According to the prosecutor, this issue was resolved on October 24.
The court in the deliberation room considered the prosecutor’s petition. Next, the judge granted the prosecutor’s request to leave without consideration the request of Kolomoisky’s lawyers. Thus, he remains in jail.
The oligarch, arrested in early September, is accused in Ukraine of acquiring and disposing of property obtained by criminal means. In addition, investigative authorities suspect him of organizing forgery of documents for the transfer of funds.
