A resident of Kyiv told Ukrayinska Pravda about the “shocking experience” of traveling to Israel. According to the woman, Ukrainians were “mocked” at Ben Gurion Airport.
She clarified that last December she flew to Tel Aviv at the invitation of friends. At the airport, the Ukrainian woman started having problems: her documents were studied for a long time at passport control, and after that they were forced to wait in the waiting room.
After some time, the woman was called for an interview, where they asked about children and marriage. The airport employee received a negative response and looked at the Ukrainian woman with “condemnation”.
“After they were sent to the waiting room. They did not give food and water, and it was impossible to buy something. Ukrainians were not allowed out of the hall for a very long time. After that, they called me for a second interview and asked why I came to the country. They said that my case would be considered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, then I realized that they were laughing at me, ”the woman said.
As a result, the woman spent three days at the airport, and after that she was handed over deportation documents with a ban on visiting Israel for five years.
