Hungarian police in hot pursuit detained 30-year-old Ukrainian citizen Ferenc B., who is suspected of murder.
According to a statement on the police website, on the night of August 10, the suspect demanded money from a 49-year-old man who was sitting on a bench in Clausal Square. Having received no money, the Ukrainian began to strike the victim, as a result of which the man died. After that, the suspect took five thousand forints (about $14) out of his pocket and fled.
The identity of the victim has not yet been established. But the arrested Ukrainian did not give evidence. It is known that at the time of the crime, he was with a woman who passively watched his actions, and then drank the wine that the Ukrainian bought with the money stolen from the victim.
