Ukraine signed security agreements with Italy and Canada

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky reported in his Telegram channel that today, during a meeting with the head of the government of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, and the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, bilateral agreements on cooperation in the field of security were signed.

Zelensky called the meeting with Meloni “substantive”, and regarding the agreement with Canada, he noted that it implies the allocation of more than 3 billion Canadian dollars (2.2 billion US dollars) of macro-financial and defense assistance to Ukraine in 2024.

Previously, Ukraine signed similar agreements with France and Germany.
