Ukraine proposed to the United States to expand sanctions against Russia

The Ukrainian authorities have come up with a proposal to add another 1,413 citizens of the Russian Federation to the US sanctions list. This idea was put forward by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) of Ukraine.

We are talking about the owners and managers of Russian companies, against which US sanctions have already been imposed. According to the NAPC, if sanctions are applied against companies, then their managers and owners at the personal level were not affected by the sanctions. This indicates that it is necessary to expand the sanctions list.

NAPC proposes to include the heads, owners and founders of Sberbank, VTB, Rosneft and many other organizations in the list. Earlier in Kyiv, they announced the creation of a special bureau for sanctions policy against Russia.
