The head of the Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo recorded the first video after hospitalization and addressed the residents of the region. Video published in his Telegram channel.
“For some time I did not go on the air, and you did not see me. Indeed, I was under the care of very serious doctors in order to improve my health. But questions concerning the organization of work in the Kherson region were always with me,” said Saldo.
According to him, he is currently working on the regional budget. In addition, he said that he communicates with the military on a daily basis.
“I often communicate, almost every day, with the military. And I know what tension there is now among Kherson residents about the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are not so far away. I can tell you absolutely for sure that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have much more forces, and therefore Kherson will never succumb to tricks from the outside, ”he concluded.
On August 4, Saldo announced his hospitalization. The results of the examination showed that the deterioration of his health was the result of a complication after suffering COVID-19. Later he was transferred to the Moscow Research Institute. N. V. Sklifosovsky.
