Ukrainian Brigadier General Vladimir Shvedyuk announced on social networks that he has been appointed head of the operational command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces “West”.
“From today, I have the honor to lead, without exaggeration, one of the most powerful military formations of the Ukrainian armed forces,” the Ukrainian general shared the details.
The operational command of the Ukrainian armed forces “West” has been headed by Sergei Litvinov since 2021. Previously, he was appointed deputy head of the National Defense University of the former Soviet republic.
