Kuleba: Kyiv will not be satisfied with any decision of the July NATO summit, except for an invitation to the alliance
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said on Friday during a broadcast on his page on a social network that the outcome of the NATO summit in Vilnius in July would be an unacceptable result for Kiev if the allies simply confirmed the open door policy for the 130th time.
He also called it unacceptable if NATO simply offers Ukraine some things to deepen cooperation, instead of steps towards membership in the organization.
“In Vilnius, NATO must take a step towards membership,” Kuleba stressed, adding that the alliance must also resolve the issue of security guarantees for Ukraine until it becomes a member of the organization.
