The Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov said that the government of the country sent appeals to the heads of leading companies in the computer games industry with a call to withdraw the Atomic Heart game produced by the Russian studio Mundfish from sale.
“Official requests to ban the Atomic Heart game,” he wrote on social media, attaching copies of the letters.
According to the published photos, the appeals were sent to the heads of Sony Interactive Entertainment – Jim Ryan, Sony Group – Kenichiro Yoshida, Microsoft – Brad Smith, Valve Corporation – Gabe Newell.
According to Fedorov, the reason for writing appeals was the fact that this game “romanticizes communism.”
