Ugra residents ran a half marathon “Surgut Ring”

On September 10, the city hosted the 25th half marathon “Surgut Ring” – athletes ran around the reservoir of the Surgutskaya GRES-2 distance of 5 and 16 kilometers.
As a result, Nikita Skorobogatov from Surgut became the absolute champion of the race; in the last five years, the distance of 16 kilometers was conquered only by athletes from other cities. The second and third places went to the representatives of Surgut, among women the entire podium was also taken by women from Surgut. At a distance of 16 km, participants from Yekaterinburg and the Sverdlovsk region performed well, Anastasia Zhaykbaeva, Sergey Kolyagin and Pavel Nartov became champions in their age categories.
The best result at a distance of 16 km was shown by Alexei Rufov, a representative of the Surgutskaya GRES-2 branch, Igor Zalutsky ran the fastest 5 km, Anastasia Lisina ran the fastest among women, and Tatyana Yuzhakova and Ekaterina Gostenko from Vartov took 2nd and 3rd places in the age category 16-30 years.
