Ugra residents brought 26 medals of the Unified Games of the Special Olympics

The Unified Games of the Special Olympics were held in Kazan – an event for people with intellectual disabilities included 18 winter and summer sports.
17 juniors from Yugra took part, they competed in cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, swimming, athletics, and judo. As governor Natalya Komarova reported on her page on the social network VKontakte, the residents of Yugra brought 12 gold, nine silver and five bronze medals. “Thanks to coaches, mentors, parents of athletes. Champions – with a victory! Well done,” she wrote.
