UFC President White says he does not consider Fedor Emelianenko one of the best fighters

Fedor Emelianenko is not one of the best fighters of all time, he should have retired two years ago. This opinion was shared by the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Dana White.
Recall that 46-year-old Emelianenko lost to American Ryan Bader in Los Angeles the day before. After the fight, he announced his retirement.
White said at a press conference that Emelianenko should have hung up his gloves two years ago. He stressed that he has no animosity towards this athlete, although the signing of Emelianenko in the UFC never happened.
“I don’t want to talk badly about a person, today Emelianenko is ending his career. People loved him, praised him, but he never tried himself here (in the UFC – ed.). I have never been the kind of person who considers him one of the greatest,” said White.
