UFC bi-division champion Nunes announces her retirement
Brazilian Amanda Nunez, champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in the bantamweight and featherweight divisions, has announced her retirement.
On Sunday Nunes defeated Mexican Irene Aldana in the main event of the 289th UFC tournament in Vancouver (Canada). Nunes’ victory was awarded by unanimous decision.
“Tonight is an amazing night to leave,” said 35-year-old Amanda Nunes immediately after the fight and put gloves on canvas to two championship belts.
She has 23 wins and 5 losses in mixed martial arts, she is the best athlete in the league, regardless of weight categories (P4P).
