Ufa is preparing for the All-Russian half marathon Zabeg.RF

On June 4, the country will be covered by a sports wave of a large-scale holiday – the All-Russian half marathon Zabeg.RF. The capital of Bashkiria will traditionally join the celebration – the start and finish of the race will take place on the square in front of the Toratau congress hall.
Participants will be able to try their hand at distances of one, five, ten and 21.1 kilometers. It is expected that more than two thousand people will take part in the race in Ufa. Each runner received a branded T-shirt and a medal at the finish line, while anyone over the age of six can start at the start.
One of the features of the half marathon is a synchronized start, in 2020 it even managed to set a record for the Guinness book as a race that united the largest number of cities at the same time. In 2021, the sports festival broke the synchronized start half marathon record previously held by the United States.
At the same time, Ufa will again take part in the competition for the title of the running capital of Russia. The average mileage of the distance covered by the athletes, the average running speed and the percentage of half-marathon participants to the total population of the city will be taken into account. The winner will receive a challenge trophy engraved with the winners starting in 2017.
