UEFA cancels matches in Israel

UEFA has decided to temporarily not hold matches under its auspices in Israel. The press service of the organization reported this.
It is noted that the decision was made after a thorough assessment of the current security situation in the country. Matches will be postponed until further notice from the organization.
Previously, UEFA had already postponed the matches of the Israeli national team against the teams of Switzerland and Kosovo, which were planned as part of the selection for the 2024 European Championship. These transfers were due to the Israeli authorities banning Israeli athletes from leaving the country.
In addition, other games in Israel have been cancelled, including qualifying matches for the 2025 European Championship under 21s and qualifying matches for the European Championship under 17s.
