UEFA and FIFA did not object to a friendly match between the national teams of Belarus and Russia. This was announced by the First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation Andrei Vasilevich.

The match between Belarus and Russia is planned to be held in June in Minsk.

“UEFA does not object to our match with the Russian national team. There was a working meeting and conversation with UEFA representatives, where certain agreements were reached,” Vasilevich said.

He added that such friendly matches are approved only according to the FIFA form. If FIFA has no complaints, then UEFA will not have any. If the international federation had any complaints, it would have already sent a corresponding note, he concluded.
