Deputy Udaltsova spoke about the unreliability of Russians leaving the country for employers
State Duma deputy Anastasia Udaltsova spoke about the fate of former relocants who left Russia in the last couple of years and later decided to return. In her Telegram channel, Udaltsova cited as an example those who left for Georgia and, with reference to local authorities, reported that in 2023, more Russians left this country than entered its territory. The deputy also expressed her opinion about the reasons why her compatriots decided to leave.
“People fled to Georgia fearing that a crisis or unrest would break out in Russia amid a special military operation,” Udaltsova said. “However, in our country, despite all the efforts of our enemies, stability and calm have been maintained.”
Due to stability in Russia, and also because foreigners abroad were not welcomed with open arms, Russians began to return, writes Udaltsova. However, she believes that new difficulties await citizens at home. Thus, she believes that in Russia there is no shortage of specialists, here “they quickly found replacements for those who left” and relocants will not be able to find work, including because “the fact that a citizen has already escaped once may alarm employers.”
Many Russians who have returned to their homeland will have to “face the difficult consequences of the choices they made earlier,” Udaltsova concluded.
At the beginning of the month, it became known that the deputy’s husband, politician Sergei Udaltsov, was detained as part of a criminal case for justifying terrorism. According to a number of publications, after his arrest, Udaltsov said that wants to go to the NWO zone. Udaltsova has still not publicly commented on her husband’s criminal case.
