French video game developer Ubisoft united all existing video game subscription plans and introduced a single Ubisoft Plus Premium. The company also introduced a new Ubisoft Plus Classics plan that focuses on certain popular titles.
The new Ubisoft Plus Premium service combines plans for consoles and PC. It costs $17.99 per month and allows you to play all of the company’s new games as they are released, and some even earlier. Those already subscribed to Ubisoft Premium will continue to pay $14.99 per month. The Ubisoft Plus Classics plan will cost $7.99. Ubisoft Subscriptions Director Philippe Tremblay also said that Ubisoft Plus Premium will include the Activision Blizzard catalog in the future.
In September 2023, Microsoft agreed transfer to gaming market competitor Ubisoft Entertainment the rights to distribute all existing and new Activision Blizzard games on cloud streaming services. Thanks to this, Microsoft was able to agree with the British regulator to purchase Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion.
