Tyumen region is preparing to receive the strongest skiers

Cross-country skiing competitions will be held in the regional capital as part of the All-Russian Spartakiad between the subjects of the country.
The II All-Russian Spartakiad between subjects in winter sports among the strongest athletes without upper age limits will be held from February 9 to 18, 2024.
In the regional capital, athletes will compete on the basis of the regional winter sports center “Pearl of Siberia”. There are all conditions for holding such significant events, the distances are certified, there is the necessary sports equipment and inventory. The center has repeatedly hosted competitions of the highest level.
Let’s add that at the same time as the ski races in four other regions of the Russian Federation – the Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk Territories, the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk Regions – competitions will be held as part of the Olympics.
We add that the Spartakiad is held in sports (sports disciplines) in accordance with the program of the XXV Olympic Winter Games 2026 in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo (Italy). In total, 108 sets of awards in 14 Olympic winter sports will be played.
