The Tyumen delegation successfully performed in cross-country skiing, reports the information center of the regional government. The competition took place in Khanty-Mansiysk. The team was led by Honored Coaches of Russia Vyacheslav Goldinov and Alexey Kobelev.
Vera Khlyzova and leader Natalya Goldinova won two silver medals at a distance of 15 km classic style and 7.5 km free style, and bronze in the sprint.
Stanislav Chokhlaev and leader Oleg Kolodiychuk took gold in the 10 km freestyle race, silver – based on the results of the sprint race.
In the final race of the ski competition program – the open relay – the team from the Tyumen region won a landslide victory.
