In the next ten days, the Vivo V30 line of smartphones is expected to be launched in Russia. The key intrigue remains the exact start date of sales and the cost of the new product. The remaining details after the release of the model on foreign markets ceased to be a secret, although even the approximate cost can be predicted taking into account known prices in other countries. Vivo is promoting the V series as devices with special photo capabilities. And for generations starting from V27, a new feature has additionally appeared – built-in Aura backlight. The creators of the V30 model adhere to the same vector.
As a noticeable evolutionary sign, Vivo engineers chose to increase the size of the key element of the series. Now the dimensions of Aura are comparable not to one lens, as it was before, but to the entire main sensor unit. The developers also changed the shape from round to square with rounded edges. So it will be impossible to confuse the new product with previous generations. Whether the transformation of the backlight will have any practical effect can only be found out during testing. So far, this decision looks more like a cosmetic one.
In terms of functionality, Vivo V30’s Aura also comes with smart customization. It can automatically adjust the color temperature under warm or cold lighting conditions. This way, the portraits the user takes will be softer and more natural, the vendor assures.
One of the well-known useful improvements of the smartphone is a 5000 mAh battery. Here the manufacturer notes a couple of accompanying features: this is the largest capacity in the history of the V-series and the thinnest Vivo smartphone with such a battery rating.
Two versions of the V30 are expected in Russian retail: with 256 GB and 512 GB storage. The chipset in both cases is Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, a curved 3D display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a pair of main cameras and a selfie camera each have a resolution of 50 megapixels.
