Two thirds of Russians would agree to be chipped

80% of respondents have heard about the possibility of implanting chips into the human body. 66% would agree to have a chip implanted in their body, showed survey, conducted by the service for marketing and sociological research on the Internet “Anketologist”. The majority of those who answered positively would do this for medical purposes (treatment, administering medications, measuring temperature, storing medications). Other purposes include storing personal data, acquiring, and GPS functions.

Among those who are against chipping, many noted that it is unnatural. Some thought it was unaesthetic. Opponents also fear control, data leakage, and harm to health. One in four noted that this contradicts their moral and religious principles.
