Two thirds of employers refused New Year’s bonuses

63% of Russian employers will not pay New Year bonuses. Most employers who plan to pay bonuses have decided that the amount will depend on the results of a particular employee. This was reported RBC with reference to a survey of the Rabota.ru and SberPodbor services.

According to the survey results, 37% of employers are going to pay New Year’s bonuses. Of these, 50% will calculate its size based on the results of the employee’s work. 20% of employers will pay bonuses in the amount of 10% of the monthly salary. 6% of respondents are going to pay bonuses in the amount of 20-30% of the salary, 5% – more than 50% of the salary. 9% – “the thirteenth salary.” Only 3% of employers will pay a bonus in the amount of two salaries.

63% of managers refused to pay New Year’s bonuses. Last year, their share was only 35%, analysts at Rabota.ru and SberPodbor say.

“According to our research, this year a smaller number of employers are ready to pay New Year bonuses to employees, as many are faced with optimization or budget cuts in 2022,” Alexander Veterkov, Deputy General Director of Rabota.ru, quotes RBC.
