Russians Sokolova and Malysheva won Olympic licenses in women’s wrestling

At the qualifying tournament in Baku, Russians Nadezhda Sokolova and Natalya Malysheva won Olympic licenses in women’s wrestling.

Sokolova in the up to 50 kg category defeated Anastasia Bleivas from Germany in the semifinals. And Malysheva in the up to 53 kg category turned out to be stronger than the Greek Maria Prevolaraki – we are also talking about the semi-final stage.

Thus, having reached the finals, the female wrestlers won Olympic licenses to participate in the Paris Olympics.
