Governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit announced the completion of the construction of two reinforced defense lines in the region. He also published photographs showing a concrete pillbox being built, camouflaged in a field among bushes, as well as weapons prepared inside a firing point.
“This week, work was completed on staffing and building two reinforced defense lines of the Kursk region,” Starovoit wrote, adding that the work was carried out jointly with the Russian Defense Ministry and the Border Directorate for the Kursk region.
According to the head of the region, the third line will be ready by November 5.
“We are ready to repel any encroachment on our territory,” Starovoit stressed.
