Two northerners joined the junior Russian swimming team

Two athletes from the Murmansk region will compete at the Russian-Chinese Youth Games as part of the swimming team. Competitions will be held from 21 to 27 May.
The press service of the government of the Murmansk region reported on the participation of two northern women in the IX Russian-Chinese Youth Summer Games.
So, Yesenia Konstantinova and Elizaveta Prokhorova became part of the Russian junior swimming team. Both girls are pupils of the Complex Sports School of the Olympic Reserve and have repeatedly successfully represented the Murmansk region at interregional and all-Russian competitions. Both Yesenia and Elizaveta are masters of sports.
In total, 48 athletes will compete for medals in the Russian swimming team. Competitions will be held from 21 to 27 May in Chongqing.
