Two Moscow region teams became winners in a fencing tournament

Athletes from the Moscow region won three medals at the international fencing competition “Rapier of St. Petersburg”. This was reported by the Ministry of Physical Education and Sports of the Moscow Region.
Fencers from the Moscow region won silver and bronze medals in the team tournament. The winners of the competition were athletes from the Kursk region. The second step of the podium was taken by: Anna Pozdnyakova, Milana Levchuk, Irina Zorina and Arina Volskaya. The top three were completed by four foil fencers Leila Pirieva, Ayla Mamedova, Anna Solovyova and Ksenia Glebova.
The annual international competition “Rapier of St. Petersburg” was held from November 24 to 26 in the city on the Neva, at the Yubileiny sports complex.
