Milana Bilyk was twice on the podium at track and field athletics competitions. The athlete competed with more than 60 para-athletes from 11 regions of the country. This was reported in the press service of the administration of Khimki.
Milana Bilyk covered the 200 meters in 32 seconds and finished first. In the 100 meters race, she showed a result of 15.51 seconds and received a silver medal. The girl is a member of the national team of the Moscow region and has the III sports category.
The girl is engaged in the Health and Fitness Club “Blago” in Khimki. Classes are held for athletes with lesions of the musculoskeletal system, the visually and hearing impaired. The club has developed special methods that allow to eliminate the shortcomings of motor training and carry out the prevention of common diseases.
Athletics competitions at the IV All-Russian Summer Olympics for the Disabled were held in Zhukovsky at the Meteor stadium. So far, Moscow Region, Chuvashia and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra are leading in the team standings.
