Greece will not require from the Russians an extract from accounts in European banks and an insurance policy issued in the EU for issuing a tourist Schengen visa. This was reported to RIA Novosti at the Greek Embassy in Moscow.
“The Greek Consulate did not introduce such changes,” the agency was told.
Earlier it became known that when applying for visas to Russians, German visa centers require statements from accounts in European banks operating in EU member states. In addition, insurance issued in the European Union is required.
In turn, on the websites of the visa centers of Slovenia and Malta, messages appeared that medical insurance issued by foreign companies is required to obtain a Schengen visa.
In the visa center of France, the agency was informed that when applying for visas, an extract from the accounts of European banks is not required.
