Users complained about disruptions in the Twitter microblogging network, according to data from the Downdetector portal. The site itself has already recorded more than 7,500 such complaints.
42% of users who filed complaints reported a problem with logging into Twitter through the site, another 40% reported failures in the application.
As noted by CNBC, this is not the first failure of the social network this year. In particular, massive disruptions to Twitter were observed in March and February. The service representative did not provide a clear answer to the publication’s request regarding the causes of the failure and the possible timing of the restoration of work.
Access to the American social network Twitter was restricted in Russia at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office on February 24, 2022. The reason for the blocking was that illegal information was distributed on Twitter – calls for mass riots, extremist activities, participation in mass (public) events held in violation the established order.
