As of 12:00, more than 2.7 million people (36.3%) had voted in the elections in Moscow, said Vadim Kovalev, Chairman of the Public Headquarters for Monitoring the Capital Elections. According to him, voting is taking place normally, there are no violations.
From September 8 to 10, three days of voting are taking place in 85 regions of Russia for elections at various levels – governors, deputies of legislative assemblies, heads and deputies of municipalities. Today, September 10, is the main voting day. This year, 24 regions are using Remote Electronic Voting (DEG).
After the first day of voting, at the Central Election Commission reported about complaints from Russians, especially Moscow residents, about the unstable operation of diesel generators. It was decided to cancellation paper ballots of those who voted on September 8 in the Moscow district of Sokolinaya Gora due to suspicions of falsification.
