Turnout in the DEG elections exceeded 80% – Kommersant

As of March 16, 11:00 Moscow time, 82% of participants in remote electronic voting (DEG) cast their votes, the Ministry of Digital Development reported in its Telegram-channel. The turnout for the DEG in the Kamchatka Territory was 91%.
In second place is the Altai Territory, where 84% of voters who chose the DEG system voted. Belgorod, Kursk, Lipetsk and Tomsk regions voted in the DEG by 83%. In the Volgograd region and the Republic of Chuvashia, the turnout was 82%, in the Sverdlovsk region – 81%.
The Russian presidential elections take place from March 15 to 17. For the first time in the presidential elections, a remote electronic voting system has become available. The DEG system is available in 29 regions, including Moscow. Four candidates are vying for the presidency: Vladimir Putin (self-nominated), Leonid Slutsky (LDPR), Vladislav Davankov (New People) and Nikolai Kharitonov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation).
