An international lighting corporation from Moscow has launched the production of components for external and internal lighting. This was announced by Moscow Government Minister, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky. The plant will assemble LEDs of various sizes, LED modules and other related elements.

According to Ovchinsky, the launch of large-scale production of LEDs by BL GROUP contributes to the development of the domestic lighting industry and strengthening the technological sovereignty of the country. “The enterprise’s capacity allows us to annually produce up to 150 million white LEDs in a housing that is resistant to climatic and thermal influences,” continued Vladislav Ovchinsky. “The company is actively investing in its own development, so in the near future it plans to double these figures by increasing its equipment fleet.” The enterprise is equipped with modern technologies and equipment, which allows it to produce products that meet all safety and energy efficiency requirements. “The development of domestic production of LEDs is especially important in the current conditions, when the need for energy-efficient LED lamps has increased many times,” said the company’s GR director Evgeniy Dolin.
