Lawyers for Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party have filed a lawsuit against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the International Criminal Court (ICC). About it reported in X, one of the authors of the lawsuit, Turkish politician Mücahit Birinci.

The lawyer published the first page of the lawsuit against Netanyahu and expressed confidence that the Turkish Ministry of Justice will support him.

“We are clear with the public that we will monitor this matter, including possible investigations by the International Criminal Court,” Birinci wrote.

Another co-author of the lawsuit, lawyer Metin Kulunk named Prime Minister of Israel “Hitler of the 21st century.”

“Representing the conscience of the citizens of the Republic of Turkey, we have filed a lawsuit at the International Criminal Court in The Hague against the 21st century Hitler of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who must stand trial for the genocide he committed in the Gaza Strip and all crimes against humanity,” quotes Kyulunka “RIA Novosti”.

Since the beginning of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan did a number of anti-Israeli statements. On October 28, at a rally in support of Palestine in Istanbul, he accused Tel Aviv of war crimes, calling Israel an occupier. Later he saidthat Israel, as the “spoiled child” of the West, will be obliged to compensate for the damage caused to the Palestinians.
