Tundra through the darkness: an unusual night cross-country race will take place in the Monchegorsk region

The Moncha Nigth Trail is a one-of-a-kind night run that takes participants under the Northern Lights across rugged terrain on the Kola Peninsula.
This year, 66 people registered at the distance of 8, 15, 24 and 40 km. Another 24 young athletes under 12 expressed their desire to try their hand at the Kids distance.
“13 cities of the Murmansk region. St. Petersburg, Moscow, Karelia, Veliky Novgorod! To say that we are happy is to say nothing”, – the organizers of the event wrote in the Moncha Nigth Trail community on VK.
The start of the 40 km distance is scheduled for 18:30, an hour later the competition will begin for the participants of the Kids distance, and the general start will take place at 20:30. The awarding of winners and prize-winners will take place at the end of the competition.
Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that the Murmansk teacher became a semi-finalist competition “Cool theme!” on TV channel “Russia”.
