Tula UAV operators took seventh place in the Cyberdrome 2023 competition

Tula operators of unmanned aerial vehicles successfully performed at the Cyberdrome-2023 design competition. The tournament took place in the Rudnevo industrial technology park in the Moscow region.
160 people from 14 regions of Russia competed for the title of best. The Tula region was represented by the “Gunsmith” team. It included students from education centers No. 34 and 36, as well as students from the Lev Tolstoy TSPU and workers from defense factories.
Participants had to pass theoretical and practical exams. Based on the results of testing, certificates of mastery of the new profession “Operator of ground control equipment for unmanned aerial vehicles” were awarded. In addition, Tula residents defended their engineering and entrepreneurial projects and took master classes from leading UAV manufacturers.
The final of the competition was a tournament in drone programming, high-speed assembly and configuration. In the overall standings, the Tula team “Gunsmith” took seventh place. Participants from the region received a diploma for the best performance in the “Drone Maneuver” stage. Two Tula schoolchildren showed the best individual results at the “Drone-Maneuver” and “Quad-Sim” stages.
