Tula rowers entered the Top 10 at the Russian Cup

From November 20 to 23, the Russian Cup and All-Russian kayaking and canoeing competitions among men and women were held in Krasnodar. As the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Tula Region reported on November 24, rowers from the region were able to take worthy places and enter the top ten at these tournaments.
Tula resident Daria Zaitseva received a bronze medal for her achievements, becoming third in the single kayak race at a distance of 5000 m. At the Russian Cup in the single kayak swim at a distance of 2000 m, Tula athlete Anastasia Leontyeva took fourth place, and her colleague Elizaveta Strutina received seventh place overall.
Rowers from the Tula region went to these competitions with the support of the Sports Training Center for National Teams of the Tula Region. Oleg Chertov and Sergei Rassykhatsky prepared Tula athletes for the All-Russian level of competition.
