Tula residents won medals at the Russian Cup in cross-country skiing and biathlon for the blind

The Russian Championship and Cup in cross-country skiing and biathlon for the blind is held in Izhevsk. 18 pairs from different regions of the country take part in the sports competitions, and athletes from the arms capital of Russia were able to take a worthy place on the winners’ podium.
The Tula region was represented at these competitions by athletes from the State Educational Institution “Regional Sports School for Adaptive Physical Culture and Adaptive Sports” – Timofey Blintsov and Evgeniy Bosachenko. They trained for a long time in order to become champions in their difficult sports disciplines.
At a distance of 5 km in the national championship, both athletes, in a difficult fight, were able to deservedly win gold medals. In the Russian Cup standings, two Tula competitors came third.
