Tula region hosted the stage of the Russian beach volleyball championship

The sixth stage of the Russian beach volleyball championship, which took place from June 9 to 12, has successfully completed in the Tula region. The competition brought together 27 women’s and 28 men’s teams from different regions of the country, as well as from Belarus.
Deputy Governor of the Tula Region Sergey Egorov attended the event, congratulated the athletes on the Day of Russia and expressed recognition for the high level of skill. Beach volleyball, according to him, is a spectacular and dynamic sport.
It should be noted that in the women’s category, the victory was won by volleyball players from the Dynamo team, the second place went to the Brazilian duet, and the third place was taken by two Moscow athletes.
Among men, Dmitry Veretyuk and Alexey Arkhipov from the Kaluga region won. The second place was taken by Pavel Shustrov and Alexei Gusev from Moscow, and the third place was taken by Igor Velichko and Maxim Sivolap from Obninsk.
The sixth stage of the Russian beach volleyball championship in the Tula region has become an important part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Russian volleyball.
